Extra Curricular Activities

Loyola International School

Activities outside the curriculum which helps in the development of physical and emotional skills of students.

Introduction

A core component of our 360 Degree education is the Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular activities that shape the development of students. They are instrumental in shaping the talents and developing social skills, critical thinking and teamwork.

Our school has an array of extra and co-curricular activities for the benefit of our students. It is mandatory for our students to participate in at least one activity under both categories. Our CCA activities are conducted at the end of every functional week ranging on topics and subjects from a variety of current affairs or Global Goals from around the world.

To instil a sense of friendship and oneness among students, many of these activities are held by grouping students into four Houses which encourages healthy competition, a hunger for winning and pride in accomplishments.

SPORTS COACHING

Trained coaches and instructors ensure that your child is well instructed in a host of extra-curricular activities (ECAs) as part of the regular curriculum. There is a wide range of sports activities to choose from:

Junior Athletics

Soccer

Chess

Table Tennis

Badminton

Extra-Curricular Activities Extra-curricular activities are those activities, often sports-based, that take place outside of the LIS classroom, helping students develop their personalities and physical aptitude, which is a crucial part of our 360 Degree Framework. Students who show particular talent in these extracurricular activities may be selected to take part in the School Teams for Inter-school events, which provides an additional platform to go higher with our skilled coaches.
