To ensure a smooth and successful admissions process, applicants must meet the following criteria:
General Requirements
The student must hold a valid Qatar ID.
Students of Indian nationality are directly eligible.
Students of other nationalities must obtain special approval from the Ministry of Education, Qatar before admission
Admission Test Requirement
All students from Grade 1 onwards are required to appear for a grade-appropriate admission test to confirm their eligibility.
Admission is offered based on seat availability, performance in the assessment, and document verification.
Age Requirement
At Loyola International School, age eligibility is determined based on the child’s age as of 30th September of the academic year for which admission is being sought.
For admission to KG 1, the child must have completed 3 years of age as of September 30th of the academic year.
For all higher grades, the student must:
Have successfully completed the previous academic year
Provide a valid Transfer Certificate (TC) and academic report card during the admission process.
Student Transfer & Placement Policy
Transfer from American curriculum:
Students transferring from an American curriculum are admitted one grades ahead of their completed level. Example: A student who has completed Grade 1 in the American system will be placed in Grade 2 in the Indian (CBSE) system
Transfer from British curriculum:
Students transferring from a British curriculum are admitted in the same grade as that of British Curriculum. Example: A student who has completed Grade 1 in the British system will be placed in Grade 1 in the Indian (CBSE) system.
From CBSE Curriculum (India or Overseas):
Students will be placed in the same grade as per their current academic progress.
Transfer Certificates, Report Cards, and academic continuity will be reviewed to ensure
a smooth transition.
